Superintendentswillberesponsibleforoverseeingalldailyfieldoperationstoensurepropersitesafety,construction,progress,andqualitycontrol.

• Provide guidance,leadership,mentorship,anddirectsupervisionofsitestaff,includingassistantsuperintendents,laborersandotherconstructionrelatedpersonnel;
• Managementofschedule,includingweeklypreparationof2-weeklookahead;
• Proactivelyscheduleandcoordinateallsubcontractorstoensurecompletionoftheprojectinaccordancewiththeprojectscheduleandtoensurethatnoadditionalcostsarerequiredforcompletionofwork;
• Coordinateandscheduleasphaltmaterialfromplant,assuringpropermixdesignsareusedandquantitiesaretrackedandreleasedasnecessary;
• Developcomprehensiveunderstandingofprojectstrategyandcommitmentsincludingfinancialgoals,scheduling,logistics,phasing,milestones,and inspections;
• Managelaborforceandusage;
• Coordinateequipmentneedsandusage;
• Ensureassignedjobsiteoperationsareincompliancewithdesign/specifications,completion onschedule,withinbudgetandtoqualitystandards;
• Demonstrateandmaintaineffectiveandopendialoguewiththeprojectteamregardingchangesinwork,job conditions,subcontractorrelationsandanydeviationinthedirectionoftheproject;
• Workinpartnershipwithprojectmanagementtomaintainanupdatedandaccurateprojectschedulethatreflectsthechangesinprojectstatusandthatmeetsthecostandtimerequirementsoftheproject;
• Runweeklymeetings,includingprojectandsubcontractormeetings;
• InitiateRFIprocess;consistingofthecreationofandsuggestionsonsolutionstositeissues;
• Exceedclientexpectationsforeachprojectbyunderstandingclientneeds,wants,preferences andculture;
• Continuouslypromotepositivesubcontractorrelationsbydealingprofessionallyandfairlywithallsubcontractorsandvendorsinstillingthisphilosophiinprojectteam;
• Maintainandreviewpunchlistprocesstoensureallareaddressedandexecutedinatimelymanner;
• Managecloseoutprocessandwarrantyresponseswithprojectmanager;

• 5-10yearsexperience.
• BS/BAinEngineering,Architecture,Construction Management,orcommensurateexperiencepreferred.
• Excellentcommunicationabilities,including writing,speakingandactivelistening.
• Knowledgeofconstructionbudgetingbestpractices.
• Effectiveleadershipabilities,like motivation,goal-settingandconflictmanagement.
• Organizational skills,includingtimemanagement,delegation,prioritizationandmultitasking.

Compensationrangeforthisroleis $115-190k.
