Construction Services - Student Intern; Melville

H2M architects + engineers, a multi-discipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm with multiple offices in NY & NJ seeks qualified interns to work closely with experienced professionals in our Construction Services department.

• Coordinate, assist, and communicate with team to successfully execute on-site tasks required to complete a successful project.
• Promote job-site safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify any job site hazards immediately.
• Assist with the execution of site-specific tasks as assigned.
• Provide general administrative and project support
• Other duties as assigned.

• Enrolled as a sophomore or higher in construction, construction management, engineering or related field.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and for multiple projects.
• Eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work individually and collaboratively in a team.

• Program runs from June 7th – August 13th
• Ability to work on real life projects, go out into the field and build relationships with managers, co-workers and other interns
• Participate in fun and exciting workshops like resume writing, interviewing skills, benefits 101, Presentation Skills, etc.
• Celebrate National Intern Day!
• Top it off with presentations to your other fellow interns, managers and leadership team

• Build long lasting relationships with managers, co-workers and fellow interns

This internship may be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis, depending on business needs and candidate availability.

The hourly rate for this role is $19.25 to $27.00.
