Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Provide the necessary input and feedback for all involved areas to ensure that serial production of compressors and clinical systems is done with the highest quality of design and reliability, including definitions and specifications, incoming inspection requirements, production methods, end‑of‑line inspection specifications, etc. Responsibilities also include our Nitrous product line.
- Responsible for design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems.
- Perform engineering design evaluations and recommend alterations to develop and design to improve product and procedure quality.
- Process task‑driven design activities as assigned to support the Duerr Dental development team and US operations team.
- Evaluate control conditions via tolerance study observation and awareness.
- Operate within the team framework, functioning independently under general supervision.
- Delegate tasks effectively based on team members’ strengths and project needs.
- Plan and prioritize task timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Monitor progress and adjust action plans to meet deadlines and budgets, holding team members accountable.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability within the team.
- Facilitate communication within the team and across departments to ensure alignment, serving as a spokesperson for Sales Operations and the Sales Team.
- Manage all relevant stakeholders through proactive communication and problem mitigation, escalating when necessary.
- Mentor and technically coach junior engineers to support their growth and development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 5+ years of applicable experience.
- Competency in MCAD, specifically using Solid Works, at an experienced level to execute job‑scope activities.
- Knowledge of commonly‑used concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to coordinate with cross‑functional teams to align expectations.
- Ability to navigate disagreements constructively to maintain team cohesion.
- BS or BE in Mechanical Engineering, Bio‑Mechanic Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Master's in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
