Operatortosupporttrenchlesstunnelingoperationsacrossthe United States .

TheMTBMOperatorsafelyandefficientlyoperatesremote-controlledmicrotunnelingequipmenttosupporttheinstallationofundergroundpipelineswhilemaintainingpreciselineandgrade.

Thisroleinvolvesmanaging

MTBMsystems,includingguidance,slurry,andhydraulicjacking,andworkingcloselywithfieldcrewsandprojectteamstomeetproduction,safety,andqualitygoals.

Theidealcandidatehasexperiencewith Herrenknechtorsimilarsystemsacrossarangeofgroundconditions.

• Operateandmonitor
  
  MTBMsystemstoensuresafe,precisetunnelingandmaintainlineandgrade.
• Managetunnelingoperations,includingslurry,guidance,hydraulicjacking,andcutterheadperformance.
• Coordinatewithcrews,survey,andprojectteamstomeetproduction,safety,andqualitygoals.
• Troubleshootmechanical,hydraulic,electrical,andgeotechnicalissuesduringoperations.
• Performequipmentinspections,assistwithmaintenance,andsupportsystemsetupandcommissioning.
• Maintainproductionlogsandcommunicateprogress,issues,andsiteconditions.
• Supportmobilization,demobilization,andadheretoallsafetyandcompliancestandards.
• Supportcoordinationwithsubcontractors,vendors,andfieldpersonnelasrequired

• 5+yearsofexperienceoperating
  
  MTBMorsimilartrenchlesstunnelingequipment.
• Experience with
  
  Herrenknechtsystemsand
  
  VMTguidancepreferred.
• Strongknowledgeofslurrysystems,pipe jacking,andtunnelingoperations.
• Abilitytoreadplans,surveydata,andmachineinstrumentation.
• Mechanicalaptitudewithtroubleshootingexperienceacrosskeysystems.
• Familiaritywithvariousgroundconditions(rock,mixed,softground).
• OSHAcertificationpreferred;valid driver’slicenserequired(CDLaplus).
• Strong communication,teamwork,andwillingnesstotravelandworkflexibleschedule.
• Abilitytoworkextendedshifts,nights,weekends,androtationalschedulesdependingonprojectdemands.
• Abilitytotravelforprojectassignmentsthroughoutthe United States .

Compensationrangeforthisroleis $40–$90perhour.
