About The Opportunity

We are seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer to join a growing engineering team focused on the design and development of electronic systems for innovative utility‑based products. This role offers exposure to the full product lifecycle, from concept and circuit design through testing, validation, and production.
This is a growth‑driven position within a modern, recently updated facility that provides a strong environment for hands‑on engineering and career development.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and analyze analog and digital electronic systems
- Develop schematics and PCB layouts using tools such as OrCAD (or similar CAD platforms)
- Perform engineering design evaluations to ensure performance, quality, and compliance
- Process and implement Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
- Maintain and update embedded firmware (C/C++)
- Design and build test fixtures to support validation and production testing
- Conduct testing and validation of new and existing designs; analyze post‑test data
- Create and maintain design documentation (drawings, specs, layouts, test reports)
- Develop and update work instructions and SOPs
- Recommend and implement design and process improvements
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including production, testing, and manufacturing
- Support regulatory compliance efforts (UL, CE, ISO, etc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering (targeting ~3 years for best alignment)
- Experience with:
- PCB layout and design
- Circuit design and schematic capture
- Embedded systems and microcontroller programming
- Firmware development in C/C++
- Proficiency with PCB design tools (OrCAD, Pulsonix, or similar)
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and documentation skills
- Experience with EMI/EMC‑conscious PCB design and testing
- Background in regulated product design (UL, CE, ISO, FDA)
- Familiarity with full product lifecycle development
- Experience working with hardware and printed circuit board assemblies
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
- Ownership mentality—takes initiative and drives results
