Qualifications Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Technician

BL is expanding and seeking a Subsurface Utility Engineering Technician. The Ideal candidate has 3+ years of relative SUE experience. As well as being prepared to work in the field, performing utility mark-out (locating, subsurface utility engineering) activities. This role may require travel to project sites wherever needed to support business and client needs.

• Electronic detection of subsurface utilities
• Record research
• Documenting work through the preparation of sketches, spreadsheets or written reports
• Ability to work without direct supervision is required

• 3+ years relative SUE experience-or utility mark out is a plus
• Comprehensive understanding of utility systems and layout is a plus
• Electromagnetic Induction (EMI) operation is a plus
• Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) operation is a plus
• Experience with CADD drafting is a plus.
• Mechanical inclination preferred.
• Electric or plumbing experience is helpful.
