Job Overview
Merrill Wealth Management is recruiting a Financial Advisor for its Advisor Development Program. The role focuses on building relationships with high‑net‑worth clients and providing comprehensive wealth‑management solutions.
Responsibilities- Develop a book of business to meet and exceed performance hurdles.
- Sourcing prospective clients, capitalizing on referrals, assessing needs, and delivering customized solutions.
- Recommend investment products and services based on clients’ objectives, resources, time horizon, risk profile and preferences.
- Balance investment growth, referral activities, client follow‑up, prospect building, compliance, and personal growth through day‑to‑day and long‑term planning.
- Organize and manage resources to run a productive practice and seek specialist expertise where appropriate.
- Complete mandated training, assessments, performance goals, and continuing education requirements.
- Handle inbound inquiries about Merrill offerings and position capabilities.
- Collect client profile data and follow KYC procedures to open accounts.
- Act as interim Financial Advisor, recommend suitable investment products and services, and service client accounts.
- Document all interactions and opportunities within Salesforce accurately.
- Series 7 & 66 licenses (or Series 63 & 65 in lieu of 66).
- Minimum one year experience in financial services or sales environment with goal attainment.
- Minimum one year experience in investments industry, including training and in‑depth knowledge of investment products and services.
- Proven ability to engage with and influence others, build trust and credibility.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with fast trust building.
- Assess needs and recommend solutions; ability to listen and probe for clarity.
- Work collaboratively in a team and with key partners.
- Goal‑ and result‑oriented; entrepreneurial mindset; source clients via prospecting and networking.
- Strong follow‑through skills.
- Computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Position subject to SAFE Act registration; must register and pass background check.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least one year of financial services or sales experience.
- Adaptability to new technology and applications.
- Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.

Base salary $80,000 – $90,000 annually, plus incentive plans on a monthly, quarterly, and/or annual basis.

Work Location and Hours1st shift. Hours per week: 40. Flexible with on‑site required attendance.
