Credit Analyst

The Mid-Level Credit Analyst plays a vital role in assessing the financial stability of customers to facilitate informed lending decisions. This position requires a keen eye for detail, quick analytical skills, and effective communication to support the company's credit processes and ensure risk mitigation.

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of customer financial data, including personal and business credit reports, TLO reports, and professional license reports.
• Evaluate creditworthiness by gathering information from credit bureaus, employers, and financial institutions to determine repayment ability.
• Stay informed about MMP Capital and partner lending parameters, ensuring compliance with current credit policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to recommend suitable credit programs tailored to customer needs.
• Prepare and submit credit applications for approval, documenting credit decisions, stipulations, and declines accurately.
• Follow up with lenders to manage approval timelines, extensions, and necessary updates to credit applications.
• Support senior team members by providing detailed credit analysis and maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.

• Basic understanding of financial statements, credit concepts, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to adhere to internal credit policies and guidelines.
• Supportive team player with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Prior experience in credit analysis or financial services.
• Knowledge of TLO reports and professional license verification processes.
• Familiarity with credit reporting agencies and lending protocols.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
