The Director of Nursing (DON) is the senior clinical leader responsible for clinical oversight, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance across all clinical service lines. This role ensures that all nursing services are delivered in accordance with New York State Department of Health (DOH) regulations, LCHSA and CHHA requirements, and payer standards, while supporting safe growth of infusion, Private Duty Nursing (PDN), and short-term skilled nursing services.
This role is not a business development role. The Director of Nursing is accountable for clinical integrity, patient safety, regulatory readiness, and nursing excellence, serving as the clinical authority for the organization.
