Job Description
We are looking for an Onsite Infrastructure Engineer to provide hands‑on technical support at client locations. The role involves traveling between sites to manage, install, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, including desktops, servers, and network equipment. You will assist with software installations, desktop management, and troubleshooting, sometimes working under the guidance of remote L2/L3 engineers. As an IT "smart hands" resource, you’ll support both routine and escalated issues.
Key Responsibilities- Be stationed at or travel to client sites to provide technical support
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop software and hardware
- Support server and network infrastructure setup and maintenance
- Assist with routine hardware/software maintenance and updates
- Work under remote L2/L3 engineer guidance for complex issues
- Act as "smart hands" for remote teams, executing tasks as needed
* This role is 100% onsite with the client in New York City, NY*
Basic Qualifications- Minimum 2 years work experience
- Experience with IT infrastructure support, servers, desktops, networking
- Strong desktop management and software troubleshooting skills
- Ability to handle system installations, updates, and repairs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel between client sites as required.
