Sr. Manager, IT Strategy & Security, onsite in Melville, NY
Our client in Melville, NY is seeking a strategic, hands-on IT leader to drive cybersecurity, infrastructure, AI governance, and digital transformation initiatives across the organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will oversee IT operations, security compliance, AI strategy, vendor management, and technology planning while leading a small internal IT team.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance initiatives (SOX, PCI DSS, ISO 13485)
- Oversee infrastructure, cloud environments, networks, VoIP, and end-user support
- Drive AI governance, tool evaluation, integration strategy, and data protection programs
- Manage technology vendors, SaaS agreements, and security assessments
- Develop and execute the organization's technology roadmap and IT budget
- Partner with leadership to identify and implement technology-driven business improvements
- 5+ years of IT leadership experience with a focus on security and strategy
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.)
- Experience with ERP systems (Net Suite preferred), cloud infrastructure, and enterprise networks
- Hands-on experience with AI governance, risk management, and system integrations
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA preferred
- Direct visibility to executive leadership
