CNC Centerless Grinder Operator

Job Overview

A Centerless Grinder Machine Operator sets up, operates, and monitors centerless grinding machines to produce precision metal parts that meet quality and dimensional specifications.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating centerless grinding machines preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.

salary: $54,000 - $66,560 per year

• Set up and operate centerless grinding machines according to production requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Adjust machine settings, including grinding wheels and feed rates, to achieve required tolerances.
• Measure finished parts using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Inspect parts for quality, dimensions, and surface finish.
