The Sales Analyst will report to the Manager of Sales and Category Analytics and support multiple product categories across the U.S. and Canada. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented team player with a strong interest in sales and analytics. The Sales Analyst will provide critical data insights for market and trend analysis while also supporting customer and sales administrative needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze syndicated, internal, and customer data to evaluate market, category, channel, and product performance, providing actionable insights.
  • Prepare and distribute recurring sales and forecasting reports using BI tools, Power BI dashboards, Excel, and customer portals/EDI systems.
  • Manage new product forecasting in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and update product, promotion, and item master data across customer portals and internal systems.
  • Support Sales Managers with meeting preparation, presentations, and sample coordination.
  • Monitor sell-in and sell-through trends, year-over-year performance, pricing impact, and new product launches across different categories.
  • Develop account-level and point-of-sale insights through data analysis and store visits to identify growth opportunities.
  • Respond to customer and sales inquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to account presentations and participate in client meetings and trade shows as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external customers.

Qualifications:

  • 1–4 years of experience in sales analysis or category management preferred.
  • Strong analytical and data visualization skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and strong initiative.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
