Pay Rate: $18.20 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, patients, and/or vendors by following site‑specific access control procedures and security‑related policies at a healthcare location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor sign‑in activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured doors, and other security‑related concerns.
- Complete required reports and activity logs, document access control events, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate site contacts.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
