Operatortosupporttrenchlesstunnelingoperationsacrossthe United States .

TheMTBMOperatorsafelyandefficientlyoperatesremote-controlledmicrotunnelingequipmenttosupporttheinstallationofundergroundpipelineswhilemaintainingpreciselineandgrade.

ThisroleinvolvesmanagingMTBMsystems,including guidance,slurry,andhydraulicjackingsystems.

Thepositionworkscloselywithfieldcrewsandprojectteamstoachieveproductiongoalswhilemaintainingsafetyandqualitystandards.

Theidealcandidatehasexperiencewith Herrenknechtorsimilarsystemsacrossarangeofgroundconditions.

• OperateandmonitorMTBMsystemstoensuresafe,precisetunnelingandmaintainlineandgrade.
• Managetunnelingoperations,including slurry,guidance,hydraulic jacking,andcutterheadperformance.
• Coordinatewithcrews,survey,andprojectteamstomeetproduction,safety,andqualitygoals.
• Troubleshoot mechanical,hydraulic,electrical,andgeotechnicalissuesduringoperations.
• Performequipmentinspections,assistwithmaintenance,andsupportsystemsetupandcommissioning.
• Maintainproductionlogsandcommunicateprogress,issues,andsiteconditions.
• Support mobilization,demobilization,andadheretoallsafetyandcompliancestandards.
• Supportcoordinationwithsubcontractors,vendors,andfieldpersonnelasrequired.

• 5+yearsofexperienceoperatingMTBMorsimilartrenchlesstunnelingequipment.
• Experience with
  
  HerrenknechtsystemsandVMTguidancepreferred.
• Strongknowledgeofslurrysystems,pipe jacking,andtunnelingoperations.
• Abilitytoreadplans,survey data,andmachineinstrumentation.
• Mechanicalaptitudewithtroubleshootingexperienceacrosskeysystems.
• Familiaritywithvariousgroundconditions(rock,mixed,soft ground).
• OSHAcertificationpreferred;valid driver'slicenserequired(CDLaplus).
• Strong communication,teamwork,andwillingnesstotravelandworkflexibleschedule.
• Abilitytoworkextendedshifts,nights,weekends,androtationalschedulesdependingonprojectdemands.
• Abilitytotravelforprojectassignmentsthroughoutthe United States .

Compensationrangeforthisroleis $40-$90perhour.
