Route Driver – Smartservice

We are hiring immediately for full‑time Route Driver positions ation: 255 Pinelawn Road, Melville, NY 11747. Online applications accepted only. Full‑time schedule Monday–Friday, hours may vary. Fixed Pay Rate: $22.25 per hour. Internal employee referral bonus available. All driving roles may include commission eligibility.

Drive company vehicle over an established route to deliver products and maintain inventory. Deliver top‑notch service to clients and customers at all times.

• Prior to each day’s route, ensure the truck is properly loaded with all required products to service scheduled machines per operational procedures.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Load hand cart with totes of product, walk to the machines, load the machines, and return to truck with empty totes.
• Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at designated client locations.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and related equipment.
• Conduct minor service adjustments on machines; report defective equipment to the maintenance repair service operator or technician dispatcher.
• Maintain accurate machine product and inventory data via handheld computer.
• Inform regular clients and customers of new products or services.
• Listen to and resolve service complaints; report all client/customer complaints to immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
• Set up merchandise and sales‑promotion displays, or issue sales‑promotion materials to customers.
• Be accountable for receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash, and product.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation per established procedures.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized; perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe operation of company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws.
• Preferred 1–2 years customer‑service experience, or at least 1 year related experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.
