We are seeking detail-oriented Staff Accountant/s for multiple 'stand-out' clients in Nashville! The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close processes, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires a solid understanding of GAAP and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and post journal entries and assist with monthly close processes.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
- Assist with audits and tax filings.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve accounting processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 1-5+ years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
