We are currently hiring for the role of Accounting Specialist.

The Accounting Specialist is primarily responsible for performing day-to-day accounting tasks and activities. Along with a team of employees, this includes, but is not limited to, transactions that impact the general cash account, collections and on hold orders.

• Monitor and process incoming emails from the AR email address.
• Work with customers to collect past due receivables.
• Learn and understand how to process sales tax exemptions from customers.
• Handle new customer onboarding, including ship-to addresses, credit applications, etc. Any variances to this process should be AR Lead.
• Learn and to process customer tax credits.
• Be responsible for maintaining specific customers/accounts by providing account balances and documenting attempts to collect.
• Analyze and resolve account application issues.
• Analyze and resolve partial payment issues.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Able to exercise extreme attention to detail.
• Well organized and able to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong professional communication skills, written and verbal, required for both internal and external interactions.

• 1-3 years working in an accounting capacity, within an accounting department.
• Experience with various accounting platforms required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
