Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Data Entry
Provides support to department Manager and Environmental Compliance Specialists. Coordinates or oversees environmental related administrative processes and projects. Researches, gathers, and compiles information and data to prepare compliance plans and reports. Responsible for preparing and distributing environmental communications to internal and external customers.
Essential Functions- Communicates with internal and external customers, including regulatory agencies, environmental consultants, and vendors.
- Maintains compliance databases; responsible for maintaining and tracking hardcopy files as well as electronic documents via the company’s environmental management information system.
- Prepares and submits reports for numerous environmental compliance programs, including but not limited to stormwater monitoring reports, wastewater discharge reports, and annual and biannual hazardous waste reports.
- Assists Compliance Specialists with the preparation and submittal of registrations and permit applications.
- Prepares and maintains vendor service contracts.
- Responsible for oversight and review of outside vendors managing emergency response services, including the review of closure reports and invoices.
- Supports with monitoring and tracking processes per internal auditing procedures.
- Assists with department’s internal communication processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or related field is required.
Minimum ExperienceNo related experience is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesSoftware skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
Ability to learn quickly and broaden knowledge and responsibilities.
Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to functional needs.
Ability to develop effective methods for tracking and monitoring data or information. Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred QualificationsSoftware skill, including use of Microsoft Office software. Working knowledge of environmental compliance concepts and procedures preferred. Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines and goals.
Ability to develop effective methods for tracking and monitoring data or information. Strong oral and written communication skills.
Pay$23.34/hr - $35.01/hr
