Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, bilingual French? or Portuguese?speaking Global Support Coordinator to assist with partner communications, program coordination, translation, and administrative support across Sub?
Saharan Africa. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a multicultural environment and enjoys supporting senior leaders, managing details, and ensuring smooth global operations.
- Coordinate all communications with assigned regional partners, including scheduling monthly calls, preparing materials, and supporting new program onboarding.
- Maintain accurate records in the team’s CRM, including revenue data, contact information, program notes, and priority action items.
- Draft, refine, and standardize program language to ensure clarity and consistency across materials.
- Support planning and execution of partner assessments and participate in workshops that advance program development.
- Provide verbal and written French? or Portuguese? language translation, including real?time translation during training sessions and workshops.
- Prepare assessment summaries and collaborate with regional leadership on strategic planning documents.
- Work closely with internal subject matter experts and alliance partners to coordinate coaching and development activities.
- Assist with internal team operations, administrative processes, scheduling, and general coordination needs.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and either French or Portuguese is required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and public?speaking skills.
- Experience working in complex or global environments, especially with senior?level stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners across cultures.
- Willingness to travel internationally a few times per year, including occasional evenings/weekends.
- Understanding of Sub?
Saharan African cultures and how cultural norms influence communication and relationships. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; basic Excel skills required.
- Experience with CRM systems, data entry, note?taking, or supporting leaders is preferred.
- 3–4 years of experience in a similar administrative, coordination, or program support role.
- Experience supporting regional leaders or acting as a liaison between teams.
- Strong time?management and follow?through abilities.
- Familiarity with fundraising, operations, marketing, or public relations is a plus.
