What's a typical day as Data Entry Logistics Clerk? You'll be:
- Entering and updating shipment and billing information into the Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Reviewing and updating Bills of Lading (BOLs) to ensure accuracy and consistency with company records.
- Processing, scanning, and uploading Proof of Delivery (POD) documents and shipment paperwork.
- Verifying the accuracy of all data entered and promptly correcting any discrepancies.
- Collaborating with operations, billing, and dispatch teams to ensure documentation is complete and properly recorded.
- Maintaining organized electronic records and supporting additional administrative tasks as needed.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).
- Bring 1-2 years of experience in data entry, billing, or administration within logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments.
- Possess strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data processing.
- Are proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills, and can manage multiple priorities independently.
- Preferably have experience with shipment documentation (BOLs, PODs, carrier paperwork) and familiarity with logistics software or TMS platforms.
- Have strong problem-solving and communication skills.
