Job Description: HR Administrative Assistant

Location:
Memphis, TN (38125)

Pay Rate: $27/hour

Contract Duration: 11 Months

The HR Administrative Associate provides high-level administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth daily office operations. This role will support pre-employment background check review-related administrative functions. This role functions as a key point of coordination for information flow, documentation, and communication within the team, with a focus on accuracy, organization, and confidentiality. The position supports general office administration, document management, and basic reporting activities in a structured corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general office duties including ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and basic bookkeeping support
  • Prepare and format invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other business documents
  • File, organize, and retrieve corporate records, documents, and reports
  • Manage incoming correspondence including mail, emails, and faxes; ensure timely distribution to appropriate stakeholders
  • Draft routine responses to inquiries and internal/external correspondence
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper recordkeeping standards are followed
  • Support administrative workflows and assist with ad hoc office needs as assigned

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2–4 years of administrative or office support experience required
