Southwest Tennessee Community College is a comprehensive, multicultural, public, open—access college. Southwest has four campuses/centers from which it offers over 100 programs and over 20 technical certificate programs.

Job Summary

The Southwest Tennessee Community College Administrative Services team is looking for a dependable person to assist staff and students with clerical support in the Administrative Services office.

Job Duties
  • Operate office equipment such as telephone, copier, and a PC.
  • Greet office visitors and answer and document all phone calls.
  • Knowledge of campus departments and layout.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be a registered student of Southwest Tennessee Community College.
  • Only students who are approved for Federal Work Study are qualified for this position.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of modem office practices, procedures, and equipment. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
