The 365-bed facility is one of the largest free-standing psychiatric hospitals in the United States. We are located on a serene 37-acre campus in northeast Shelby County, serving as the setting for the treatment for children, adolescents, young adults, adults and seniors. Lakeside's comprehensive programs treat disorders such as bipolar disorder, psychological trauma, depression and anxiety, mental illness and addictive disease disorders such as alcoholism, drug addiction and substance abuse.
Summary
The Admin Assistant provides clerical and general support to the assigned department. The Admin Assistant promotes the effective flow of information and manages office services in a manner that positively supports hospital operations in a manner that is consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health System.

Job Requirements:
- Education:
High School Graduate/GED required. - Experience:
Medical terminology and computer experience necessary, basic math skills, excellent typing skills, attention to detail, and advanced computer skills required. - Licensure/Certification:
Not required.
Knowledge:
- Office organization, time management and problem-solving skills: diplomacy, flexibility and telephone etiquette; excellent business skills.
- Skilled in maintaining information as highly confidential.
- English skills and familiarity with business formats and principles for correspondence and files.
