A respected and growing insurance organization is seeking a polished, professional, and highly dependable Receptionist & Office Coordinator to join its Memphis team.
This is much more than a traditional front desk position. You'll serve as the first point of contact for clients, business partners, and carriers while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

What You'll Do- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, visitors, clients, carriers, and business partners
- Create a warm, professional, and welcoming experience for everyone who interacts with the office
- Manage high volumes of incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members
- Maintain accurate records, messages, and documentation to support seamless client service
- Assist with office operations, administrative support, and coordination of internal workflows
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Process and safeguard sensitive materials, including payments, cash, and checks
- Support service teams and leadership with administrative and operational tasks as needed
- Escalate urgent matters appropriately while maintaining a calm, solutions-oriented approach
- 1+ year of receptionist, front office, customer service, or administrative experience
- Exceptional phone presence and professional communication skills
- Strong customer service mindset with a genuine desire to help others
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Experience handling confidential or sensitive information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Dependable, trustworthy, and committed to providing outstanding service
- Excellent professional references required
- Experience with in an insurance agency, financial services, professional services firm, or high-volume customer-facing environment
- Familiarity with CRM, agency management, or phone systems is a plus
