Responsibilities
- Track and monitor the maintenance of Drive Time vehicles.
- Perform inspections and work with management to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair costs and overall vehicle quality.
- Inspect vehicles for cosmetic standards.
- Manage incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Prepare and move vehicles throughout the distribution for retail.
- Record daily inventory of vehicles that arrive from auctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized area to avoid spills and hazards.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Comfortable operating all vehicles at the Reconditioning Center.
- Ability to perform thorough inspections and maintain detailed, accurate records of vehicle conditions.
- Familiarity with company cosmetic standards and assurance that each vehicle meets those standards.
- Commitment to workplace safety, eliminating hazards to oneself and team members.
- Capability to work cohesively with management and team members to handle repair or rejection decisions based on cost estimates and overall vehicle quality.
- Provide reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Requires visual acuity and manual dexterity to operate vehicles and productivity machinery such as heavy equipment and power tools.
- Possibility of moving objects up to 60 pounds.
- Use of safety equipment, including face shield or goggles, non‑slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments.
- Move in tight spaces, such as underneath a vehicle, and assume different positions to complete tasks.
- Frequent communication with internal customers and accurate exchange of information.
- Work in environments that may be cold, hot, noisy, or wet, with exposure to fumes or odors from vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate in English to ensure effective performance in a safety‑sensitive/technical environment.
