Job Overview

The Strategic Account Manager – Integrated Technologies is the primary customer‑facing representative for the USA and Canada region. This role is responsible for driving sales of technical solutions to the mining industry, including:

  • Cyanide technologies
  • Innovative Glycat and other leaching technologies
  • Analyzer and sensor portfolio
  • AI‑powered optimization technologies

The role focuses on achieving short‑ and long‑term volume and margin targets, while building and maintaining multi‑level relationships across existing, past, and prospective customers. A key aspect of the role is gathering and leveraging customer intelligence and stakeholder insights to understand competitive positioning in the region.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute regional account plans
  • Generate new business through new account acquisition
  • Monitor contract status and improve contracting processes
  • Lead negotiations for new and existing contracts
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams for bid proposals
  • Identify and manage key corporate customer relationships
  • Provide demand forecasts and supply chain insights
  • Deliver market intelligence via distribution and customer channels
  • Develop and integrate regional sales strategies across international markets

  • Proficient in managing high‑value contracts (>$10M), including negotiation, renewal, and compliance.
  • Strong grasp of commercial terms, risk mitigation, and legal considerations in industrial sales.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle tools and CRM systems.

  • Translates business strategy into actionable regional account plans.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or commercial discipline
  • Minimum 15 years of sales experience, preferably in mining or industrial chemicals
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Self‑motivated with initiative and drive
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Team‑oriented with ability to work remotely and independently
  • Solution‑focused with strong relationship‑building capabilities
