Business Development Analyst is responsible for supporting critical commercial, analytical, and cross-functional processes. This role plays an essential part in managing commercial data, project visibility and financial accuracy across multiple customer work streams. The analyst works closely with Business Development, Category Insights, Commercialization, Finance, R&D, and Supply Chain,

Approximately 10% travel expected and will report to the Sr Manager of Business Development

• Help develop and communicate strategies that drive profitable growth across co-manufacturing, food service, private label, and branded customer portfolios
• Support sales and business manager through RFP and RFI cycles, providing cross-functional support from initiation through submission
• Manage active customer business by conducting financial and performance analysis to identify growth opportunities and recommend actions that improve customer and product profitability
• Manage inbound lead intake and ensure new opportunities are accurately entered and tracked in CRM

• Develop and execute pricing strategies to increase profitability
• Manage annual price-increase cycles, track contract timelines, and prepare updated pricing to address inflation-driven changes
• Analyze customer-level sales, margin drivers, and P&L leak points and partner with account teams on corrective actions
• Prepare commercial reports, including volume projections, forecasts, and performance updates
• Monitor raw material, true-up process, packaging, and operational cost inputs; maintain cost cards; and review yield/scrap variances versus contracted BOM expectations
• Participate in AOP (Annual Operating Plan) planning process and ensure accuracy on volume and pricing
