Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Project Manager role based in the Memphis Metropolitan Area. The Assistant Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of physical security and managed service projects from initiation through completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking project schedules and milestones, assisting with resource allocation, coordinating logistics for materials and equipment, and communicating status updates to internal teams and clients.

The role also involves supporting inspections and quality checks, expediting orders and documentation to keep projects on schedule, and maintaining accurate project records and reports. The Assistant Project Manager collaborates closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope.

Qualifications
  • Project Management skills, including assisting with planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities.
  • Expeditor and Expediting experience to manage orders, documentation, and critical-path items that impact project timelines.
  • Inspection and quality oversight capabilities to support site checks, compliance reviews, and verification of deliverables.
  • Logistics Management skills to coordinate materials, equipment, and vendor activities across multiple project sites.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Ability to work on-site in the Memphis Metropolitan Area and adapt to dynamic project environments.
  • Proficiency with basic office and project management software (e.g., spreadsheets, scheduling tools, collaboration platforms).
  • Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor's degree in project management, business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in physical security, infrastructure, or construction-related projects is an advantage.
