Compliance Analyst, Business

The Compliance Analyst develops, administers, and monitors programs designed to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and internal policies governing the Bank's operations, products, services, and third-party relationships. This role supports the organization's Compliance Management System (CMS) through compliance monitoring, risk assessments, due diligence reviews, training, policy administration, and ongoing compliance oversight.

The Compliance Analyst serves as a trusted advisor to business units and management, promoting a culture of compliance and ensuring that management remains informed of compliance risks, regulatory changes, and the effectiveness of the Bank's compliance program.

• Assist in the development, administration, and monitoring of the Bank's Compliance Management System (CMS).
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and internal policies governing operations, products, services, and third-party relationships.
• Maintain and enhance compliance policies, procedures, manuals, and documentation.
• Leverage technology to maintain an accurate, accessible, and current repository of regulatory guidance.
• Stay informed of regulatory developments, emerging compliance risks, and industry trends impacting the financial services industry.
• Conduct ongoing compliance reviews and monitoring activities to assess adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Perform initial and ongoing compliance due diligence reviews and risk assessments of third parties, vendors, business partners, and service providers.
• Evaluate compliance management programs, operational processes, policies, procedures, and controls to identify potential compliance risks.
• Review transactions, products, services, disclosures, and operational activities to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
• Assist in the development, implementation, testing, and monitoring of compliance controls.
• Identify control gaps, operational deficiencies, and potential compliance violations and recommend corrective actions.
• Serve as a compliance resource and provide guidance to business units and personnel regarding regulatory requirements and compliance-related matters.
• Partner with business lines, operations, technology teams, marketing personnel, third parties, and other stakeholders to identify compliance risks and implement appropriate controls.
• Participate in the review and implementation of new products, services, delivery channels, and business initiatives to identify compliance requirements and potential risks.
• Translate regulatory requirements into operational procedures, business processes, and process documentation.
• Function as a liaison between business units, support functions, third parties, management, auditors, and the Compliance Department.
• Review marketing, advertising, customer communications, disclosures, and other collateral materials for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards.
• Assess consumer-facing products and services for compliance with consumer protection requirements.
• Work collaboratively with Marketing and business stakeholders to address compliance concerns related to advertising and communications.
• Promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
• Develop, maintain, and support compliance training programs and awareness initiatives.
• Coordinate and deliver compliance-related communications and education regarding regulatory changes and compliance responsibilities.
