Job Description

The Civil Construction Superintendent oversees and coordinates all civil construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

* Oversee and coordinate all civil construction activities on-site.

* Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

* Manage and supervise crews, subcontractors, and resources effectively.

* Interpret and implement blueprints and technical documents.

* Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.

Essential Skills

* Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil construction supervision.

* Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.

* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

* Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* OSHA safety certification preferred.

* Experience in project management, electrical, construction, plumbing, and AutoCAD.

* Subcontractor management and safety compliance expertise.

* Experience with earthworks, concrete, grading, and commercial construction projects.

Work Environment

The role offers a schedule of four 10-hour days, allowing you to be home every night. A company vehicle is provided. The work environment includes both office and on-site locations, where adherence to safety standards is paramount.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
