SES Constructors, LLC, a subsidiary of Bristol Bay Construction Holdings, is growing! We are seeking a Laborer to play a crucial role in a safe and efficient construction site.

• Ensure that work areas are clean, safe, and ready for construction activities. By removing debris, hazards, and obstacles to create a suitable environment.
• Handle tools, raw materials, and equipment.
• Load and unload items as needed for construction tasks.
• Digging, Compacting Earth, and Back filling Holes by performing manual labor, including digging trenches, filling pits, compact soil and backfill excavated areas.
• Operate construction off road vehicles
• Follow safety protocols while using equipment.
• Laborers take direction from supervisors and follow construction plans.
• Assist heavy equipment operator and other skilled workers.
• Assists in creating a positive and safe work environment.
• Be coachable and learn from team members.

• Willingness to learn from more experienced craft to become more proficient and knowledgeable.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrate the ability to finish tasks safely, accurately, and promptly.
• Knowledge of standard hand and power tools and how to use them safely and correctly.
• Basic construction experience.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Basic carpentry skills.
• Able to relay and receive information from field management needed for the current project/task.
• Strong work ethic.
• Good attitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to stay on task efficiently, safely, and flexibly.

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.

If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to, hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust vision.

Job is performed in outdoor settings to include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
