Job DescriptionThe Site Safety Manager IV will serve as the Owner’s Representative on a large-scale power generation construction project, providing field-based safety oversight focused on high-risk construction activities and Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) prevention. This role is responsible for monitoring contractor compliance, verifying implementation of approved safety plans, and identifying critical risks across wind construction operations including turbine erection, crane operations, commissioning, electrical work, and civil activities.
Key responsibilities include conducting field observations, audits, and inspections; reviewing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), lift plans, rescue plans, and confined space activities; monitoring OSHA 29 CFR 1926 compliance; tracking corrective actions; supporting incident investigations and root cause reviews; and providing safety reporting and trend analysis to project leadership. The role also interfaces with EPC contractors and subcontractors to reinforce safe work execution and elevate unresolved safety concerns.
