Construction Superintendent

Seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee daily field operations on active construction projects in the Memphis area. This role is responsible for supervising subcontractors, coordinating project activities, maintaining schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and quality requirements.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction leader with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience managing multiple trades on commercial or residential construction projects.

• Supervise daily construction activities and field personnel.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries.
• Ensure projects remain on schedule and meet quality standards.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Conduct site inspections and enforce OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates with project managers and stakeholders.
• Resolve field issues, scheduling conflicts, and construction challenges.
• Maintain daily reports, site documentation, and project records.
• Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, Foreman, or similar field leadership role.
• Experience managing commercial and/or residential construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction contracts.
• Experience supervising subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional construction management education is a plus.
