Our Worship Director drives that vision forward by providing spiritual leadership, building and caring for strong teams, and leading engaging worship experiences.
The ideal candidate deeply loves the local church and brings energy, excellence, and spiritual leadership to the people they serve. They possess exceptional vocal ability and a natural command of the stage, paired with both the flexibility to flow spontaneously in worship and the spiritual discernment to know when to lean in or step back. They can lead a team of talented musicians, vocalists, and technical staff to ensure a seamless and inspiring worship experience during services and special events.
What You Will Do:- Create meaningful service experiences by preparing environments and leading the church in worship.
- Partner with the Director of Worship to plan and execute a variety of projects as needed.
- Help direct regional worship operations while serving as a leadership voice in establishing standards and guidance for global teams.
- Support the Houston Levee Location Pastor in building a life-giving, vibrant church culture.
- Recruit, lead, develop, and care for a volunteer team to serve with passion and consistency.
- Identify and raise up worship leaders, vocalists, musicians, and audio technicians.
- Empower volunteers to own the details and help lead the ministry beyond just service settings.
- Collaborate with a variety of staff roles in the planning and execution of services and special events.
- Establish systems for tracking team growth, training feedback, and pastoral care across locations.
- Exercise wise stewardship by creating and managing the department's operational budget.
- Assist in planning ongoing training events and opportunities for vocalist and band members.
- Partner with Audio and Production teams to identify and communicate broadcast needs.

- Outstanding Biblical character that reflects the attributes found in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
- Ability to lead dynamic worship on stage with skill, creativity and excellence
- Comfort with digital tools and willingness to learn and use new systems
- Able to identify and correct things that are opposite of the culture in an honest and life-giving way
- Flexible schedule including Sunday services, office hours, evening rehearsals and special events
- A genuine love for people and a passion to help them grow personally and spiritually
