Customer Service Representative at Pet Vet Care Centers

Pet Vet Care Centers’ Pet Vax Complete Care Centers East Memphis is welcoming a new Customer Service Representative to join our team. Our mission is to improve the lives of animals and people by providing exceptional and compassionate care at every stage.

• The Customer Service Representative / Receptionist supports a high‑performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. Duties include administrative and customer‑service tasks that support the hospital.

• Provide excellent customer service in‑person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations.
• Manage lobby flow, address concerns, calm distressed owners, and schedule appointments.
• Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being.
• Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and provide information about services and products.
• Input and manage data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
• Assist with retail sales, weigh pets, process faxes, and maintain records.
• Reconcile cash drawer and perform end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions.

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
• At least 6 months CSR experience (any field).
• Knowledge of clerical procedures and ability to organize files and records.
• Excellent customer service skills with courteous and prompt assistance.
• Accurate cash handling and cashiering abilities.
• Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work at a keyboard or workstation for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, and lifting animals up to 50 pounds.

• One year of experience in animal care.

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
• Some Tuesdays, 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
• Some Saturdays, 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

Pay Range $14—$16 USD
