Customer Care Agent
Work type: Onsite - Monday through Friday
Location: Memphis, Tennessee Headquarters – 711 N Front Street
Work hours: 8 am - 5 pm CST
How you will make an impactA Varsity Spirit Customer Care Agent who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and delivers excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Process customer calls with an EPIC approach:
Etiquette at all times, proper procedure, initiate problem‑solving, and closure/follow‑up as needed. - Utilize a team approach throughout conversations, referencing co‑working agents, sales force, and other departments to ensure customer needs are met regarding our products and services.
- Mail out catalogs and swatches daily.
- Answer customer service e‑mails.
- Participate in special projects.
- Maintain proficient keyboarding skills.
- Ability to multitask in a high‑pace environment.
- Cross‑train with accounting and sales support.
- Reception coverage.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Maintain a positive, encouraging attitude at all times.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Task‑oriented and self‑motivated.
Systems/Applications:
- Contact Center Management (phone system)
- Salesforce (CRM)
- OMS (Order Management System)
- AS400
- JDEdwards
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
Education/
Experience:
- Associate’s Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, English or equivalent.
- Prior experience demonstrating success in a Customer Service‑oriented position.
