We are looking for a detail-oriented Sr. Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This role serves as a central point of contact for customers and internal partners, helping ensure orders move smoothly from entry through delivery while supporting strong account relationships. The ideal candidate brings a proactive approach to problem-solving, communicates effectively across departments, and thrives in a fast-paced, onsite environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full order lifecycle, from initial entry through shipment completion, with a strong focus on accuracy and timely follow-through.
• Partner with sales, operations, warehouse, technical support, and manufacturing teams to provide clear updates on order status, product availability, and delivery timing.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and supporting ongoing account needs.
• Assist with commercial activities such as pricing coordination, proposal support, contract-related administration, and customer growth efforts.
• Track open orders, customer projections, and demand patterns to help improve planning and day-to-day operational effectiveness.
• Maintain customer records, shared communication channels, and reporting tools to support service consistency and data accuracy.
• Identify workflow gaps and recommend practical improvements that enhance service levels and operational performance.
• Provide additional coverage across customer service and related commercial support functions as business needs evolve, including adapting to changing internal processes.
