Role Description

This full-time, on-site Registered Dental Assistant role is based in Memphis, TN at our Midtown location. The Registered Dental Assistant will support the dentist chairside during exams and procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, organizing instruments, and assisting with patient care. Daily responsibilities include taking X-rays, updating patient records, reviewing medical histories, and providing patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.

The role also involves sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment, managing supplies, and helping ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients. The Registered Dental Assistant will collaborate closely with the clinical and front office teams to support smooth patient flow and a positive experience.

Qualifications
  • Strong clinical support skills in Dental Assisting, including chairside assistance and patient preparation.
  • Knowledge of Dental Care, Dentistry, and Oral Care to support exams, treatments, and patient education.
  • Competence in Sterilization and infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.
  • Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential and compliance with Tennessee state requirements.
  • Experience taking dental radiographs and using standard dental office technology and software.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, compassionate patient guidance.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented practice.
  • CPR certification and prior experience in a general dentistry setting preferred.
