Production Artist

Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Production Artist with expertise in packaging design to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is remote, but you must be in driving distance to Charlotte, NC for occasional meetings, and involves ensuring the accurate execution of packaging and label projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, independent, and capable of collaborating effectively with a team to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

- Produce and refine packaging and label designs for a variety of products, including private label items, manufactured goods, cartons, and proprietary designs.

- Prepare production-ready artwork with meticulous attention to detail and a focus on quality standards.

- Manage and organize project files using company servers to ensure accessibility and efficiency.

- Collaborate with design and production teams to brainstorm ideas and implement effective solutions.

- Identify and communicate issues or questions proactively to maintain project timelines.

- Work independently following training, ensuring all tasks meet precision and quality expectations.

Requirements - Demonstrated experience in packaging design and production.

- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining quality.

- Ability to work autonomously while providing regular updates and maintaining communication.

- Confidence in identifying potential improvements or addressing challenges proactively.

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator and Photoshop.

- Familiarity with packaging materials, components, and workflows.

- Knowledge of pre-production and post-production processes.
