Job Description
University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Radiology, is actively seeking applicants for a full-time non-tenured Open Rank Professor in Adult Interventional Radiology.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures in critically ill trauma and non-trauma patients.
- Conduct non-coronary (including cerebral) angiograms, treat injured blood vessels by embolization and stent placements with minimally invasive percutaneous procedures.
- Perform percutaneous biopsies and drainages.
- Evaluate and read x-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
- Teach and supervise residents and fellows in Interventional Radiology.
- Candidate must have CAQ or be CAQ eligible.
Education: Completion of an accredited residency program.
Licenses: Board-certified or board-eligible.
Licensure: A current unrestricted licensure as a physician in Tennessee.
Certification: Current DEA certification number. Eligible for malpractice insurance.
Other: Relocation is not required; however, work is on-site. Sub-certification/training is highly preferred.
