The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), Ophthalmology Department, is seeking full‑time, non‑tenure track, open‑rank professor. This is an opportunity to engage in a busy clinical practice in an established longstanding department. In addition to providing excellence in patient care, ample opportunities exist to develop independent and collaborative research and innovative education models in a diverse academic clinical department.

• Deliver excellent patient care.
• Teach residents at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and VA Medical System.
• Provide on‑call coverage.
• Engage in clinical research opportunities.

• Education: Completion of an approved residency program and postgraduate fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus.
• Licenses: Board certification or eligibility, and eligibility for licensure to practice.
• Preferred qualifications: Strong commitment to teaching, resident training, and research; participation in academic activities; experience in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. Incumbent will be credentialed as medical staff to provide patient care services within Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and affiliated locations.
