Acute Care Surgery opportunity with Baptist Medical Group, a multidisciplinary organization with over 1,000 employed physicians.

• Base Salary: $450,000
• $30,000 sign‑on bonus + annual quality bonus + relocation assistance
• Employment is directly with Baptist Medical Group

• Rapid expansion of the Acute Care Surgery service to deliver high‑level specialty care.
• Join the current roster of 5 Acute Care Surgeons and a dedicated, highly trained support staff.
• Primary facility: BMH‑Memphis – a 700‑bed tertiary referral center within the 26‑hospital system.
• Dedicated OR access and an exceptionally diverse pathology mix.
• Minimal trauma exposure; polytrauma cases are handled at the Elvis Presley Level 1 Trauma Center in downtown Memphis.
• Balanced schedule when fully staffed, including: 7 (24‑hour call shifts per month) with reimbursement for extra call taken; rounding and outpatient clinic; minimum of 9 consecutive days off per physician each month.
• Strong sub‑specialty support and teaching opportunities through Baptist’s general surgery residency.
• Collaborative and collegial physicians and administrative team.
• As a not‑for‑profit system, BMHCC qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
