Hospitalist Physician

Hospital in northwestern Tennessee is seeking a BC/BE Internal or Family Medicine trained physician to join their hospitalist team. This well-established team of eight physicians, one APP, and a clinical performance nurse has access to resources that foster individual and team success. Work-life balance, with the option for a flexible schedule and a commitment to covering for one another when a team member is on leave. Standard rotation is seven days on and seven days off, spanning Monday through Sunday. Average patient census of 12-15 per provider. On-call periods include admissions ranging from zero to a maximum of four to five patients. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, general surgery, urology, GI, endocrinology, orthopedics, and wound care specialists.
