Academic Pediatric Neurologist

Memphis, Tennessee

Position Highlights

Join one of the nation's premier pediatric neuroscience programs, serving as a major referral destination across Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, and the Mid South.

Work alongside an established multidisciplinary team of 8 Pediatric Neurologists, 6 Epileptologists, 3 Neurosurgeons, Neuropsychologists, Neuroradiologists, and dedicated APP support.

Enjoy a predominantly outpatient practice with dedicated inpatient service blocks, resident support, and no clinic responsibilities while covering service.

Develop clinical interests in headache, stroke, neurodevelopmental disorders, neuromuscular disease, or other specialty areas while maintaining an academic faculty appointment through the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting base salary approximately $235,000 with faculty rank commensurate with experience.

Signing bonus of $30,000 to $50,000 plus relocation assistance up to $13,500.

Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, malpractice coverage, and a 9% employer retirement contribution.

Four weeks of paid time off, one week of CME leave, and a $3,000 annual CME allowance.

J-1 waiver and H-1B visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child Neurology.

Eligible for Tennessee medical licensure.

Interest in academic medicine, resident education, and collaborative multidisciplinary care.
