Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Memphis, TN, for a K-5 ELA Instructional Coach. The Instructional Coach will support teachers in developing effective instructional strategies, data-driven decision-making, and curriculum implementation to improve student outcomes. Responsibilities include observing classrooms, providing constructive feedback, facilitating professional development sessions, collaborating on lesson planning, developing pacing guides and formative assessments, and staying current with best practices in K-5 ELA instruction.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Curriculum Development and Education to support robust and engaging lesson planning and execution
  • Experience in Coaching and Staff Development to mentor teachers and promote professional growth
  • Demonstrated ability in Educational Leadership to inspire and guide instructional teams
  • Commitment to promoting student success and fostering a positive learning environment
  • Proficiency in using data-driven methods to assess student progress and adapt instruction
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, with a focus on ELA or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Experience working in K-5 educational settings, preferably in an instructional coaching or leadership role
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
