The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Memphis is seeking applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track position as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Teaching/Coordinator, with an expected start date of Fall 2025.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Mathematics, Statistics, or Mathematics Education.
* Advising and mentoring both undergraduate and graduate students within the Department of Mathematical Sciences.
* Contributing to departmental development and enhancement, e.g. by serving on committees.
* Providing leadership in service and/or administrative roles to support the department.
Minimum Position Qualifications
Applicants should hold the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Teaching in the Department of Mathematical Sciences and have experience working with both undergraduate and graduate students. The normal teaching load for this position is 3 courses (9 hours) per semester.
Special Conditions
Familiarity with My Math Lab or Web Assign software and NCAT redesign methods is preferred.
