Vaco is actively seeking a Technical Training Specialist for a direct-hire role supporting a nationally respected, technically focused, and rapidly growing organization in Memphis.
Position SummaryThis role blends technical fluency with adult learning and instructional design capabilities to create high-impact technical training collateral. The Trainer will design, build, and deliver practical learning experiences including application development, tool utilization, cloud platforms, Dev Ops practices, Agile methodologies, and emerging AI technologies.
The ideal candidate is confident presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences, has prior experience creating and delivering corporate training, and is passionate about advanced technologies like AI tooling and Cloud innovations.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain developer-focused training content including hands‑on labs, tutorials, videos, presentations, and assessments.
- Deliver both live and recorded training sessions to technical and operational audiences, virtually and in person.
- Translate complex concepts into clear, engaging, and outcome‑driven learning experiences.
- Apply adult learning and instructional design principles to ensure training is interactive, practical, and effective.
- Own course content lifecycle within LMS, preferably 360
Learning, to include creation, publishing, updates, reporting, and engagement analysis. - Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and architects to develop curriculum and validate outcomes.
- Build and maintain a reusable library of content, templates, labs, and delivery standards.
- Incorporate assessments and feedback mechanisms to measure learner understanding and course effectiveness.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in technical training, content development, developer education, or a closely related role.
- Demonstrated experience creating, delivering, and assessing technical training or developer education content.
- Working knowledge of coding principles, cloud concepts, and tool utilization.
- Ability to present technical tools, processes, and principles to mixed technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Hands‑on experience using LMS applications, preferably 360
Learning. - Ability to oversee end‑to‑end training from design through delivery and performance reporting.

Onsite in Memphis / Germantown, TN - Target Compensation: $85k - $90k
