Teaching Assistant Incarnation Catholic Preschool

Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking for a meaningful part-time role? Incarnation Catholic Preschool is searching for a warm, patient, and joyful Teaching Assistant to support our one-year-old class! This is a unique opportunity to help nurture the youngest members of our faith-based learning community in a caring and developmentally appropriate environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the lead teacher with planning and implementing fun, age-appropriate activities
• Help provide a warm, safe, and loving environment for our one-year-olds
• Support children during play, snack, story time, diapering, and nap transitions
• Encourage social development through gentle guidance and positive reinforcement
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with parents, staff, and fellow teachers
• Uphold our Catholic values in a way that’s inclusive, respectful, and child-centered
• Complete paperwork in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of and complies with Department of Human Services regulations.
• Completes professional development as required.
• Attends monthly staff meeting.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

• Has a love for working with toddlers and a heart for early childhood education
• Is reliable, nurturing, and brings a sense of calm to a busy classroom
• Has experience in a preschool or daycare setting (preferred, not required)
• Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
• Can lift, sit on the floor, and move around easily with active little ones
• Is comfortable working within a Catholic environment

Schedule:

• Tuesdays & Thursdays only – perfect for someone looking for flexibility, part-time work, or to supplement their early childhood experience!
