Bartlett is a rural school district with 450 students. We are located near Temple, Austin, Georgetown, and Round Rock. Our Secondary school enrollment hovers around 235 students. BISD is a TIA (Teacher Incentive Allotment) and a Hybrid District.
Job description
Looking for an experienced educator with previous leadership experience to work as a team and assist with overall leadership of our PreK-12 grade campuses. This position would encompass discipline management, compulsory attendance, knowledge of the student handbook, the student code of conduct, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage campus operations and align them with the district's mission, vision, belief statements, and goals
Experience in instructional leadership, coaching, and supporting educators to enhance teaching and learning
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, staff, families, and the community
Skills in student behavior management, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive school climate
Proficiency in school compliance, safety procedures, and knowledge of federal, state, and local educational laws
Master's degree in Education, Administration, or related field; valid Texas principal certificate or equivalent
Proven experience in educational leadership roles, with a focus on collaboration and innovation
Responsibilities
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bartlett, TX, for an Assistant Principal at Bartlett ISD
The Assistant Principal will support the school principal in managing daily operations, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring academic and behavioral success for all students
Responsibilities include overseeing instructional programs, coaching teachers and staff, implementing disciplinary measures, managing school safety and compliance, and building relationships with students, families, and community stakeholders
The role also involves collaborating on school improvement plans and promoting high standards of achievement for all students and staff
